Timofei Fedotov

Graduate Engineer

Tim joined RCDC team in 2022 as a graduate engineer. Having previously studied Mechanical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Oxford, he is keen to use his knowledge in practice to make sustainable engineering solutions smart and affordable.

During his Master, Tim was working on improving a novel bacterial transformation method, which would allow the efficiency of microbial bioremediation of contaminated land and ground water to be increased. This work has resulted in a new patent and a scientific publication.

Prior to working at RCDC, he also had a chance to work for the R&D department of a large pharmaceutical company, where he used his engineering knowledge to optimise the ventilation system of the local vivarium.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys coding and researching on various scientific topics, as well as playing football, watching movies, listening to and making music. His favourite song is Ultralight Beam by Kanye West.
