RCDC are appointed as MEP and sustainability consultants for the development of a new build, 12-14 story student accommodation site, on top of an existing building.

Aiding with the planning stage, and in line with the clients sustainability strategy, RCDC are undertaking the sites Life Cycle Carbon and Circular Economy analyses to minimise the buildings carbon emissions both during construction and operation.

As part of this, significant emphasis has been placed on the site energy, both with regards to generation and efficiency whilst ensuring that the sites meets sustainability targets.

Alongside this work, RCDC will also be undertaking the sites BREEAM Pre-Assessment providing essential guidance in identifying the most beneficial BREEAM credits, ensuring the project consistently aligns with BREEAM's standards and expectations.
