Fallsbrook Road Apartments

RCDC began working on the new Fallsbrook Road multi-tenant 29-unit development after the initial planning phase. We reviewed the plans and redesigned the plant area, replacing all gas components to make the project fully electric. . The scheme utilized a mix of natural ventilation and innovative use of an Exhaust Air Heat Pump to achieve the pass the overheating criteria.

We were able to coordinate our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design to match the challenges of the existing confined space and lack of verticality. We performed an energy assessment using an SAP calculation to inform our sustainability strategy and fabric performance.

RCDC undertook TM59 overheating calculations for the site alongside other compliance modelling, whilst also reviewed & updated the client's energy and sustainability statement to reflect our high environmental standards.
